After joining the Manufacturer’s Representative industry in 1983, I set off on my own in 2008. After starting as Inside Sales, time saw me move to Outside sales, Branch Manager, Vice President, then President of my grandfather’s agency. So I had to go solo (ha!) to get the only higher position left: CEO. I’ve lived in Memphis twice (totaling 15 years) and once in Little Rock (18 years) so I know where a lot of the bodies are buried in the territory my agency covers.
